Glenn GT Thompson outlines his “intense” plans for the 2023 Farm Bill

A House Ag Committee member has laid out new ideas as we get closer to the 2023 Farm Bill.

Glenn GT Thompson from Pennsylvania says he would like to reauthorize the Pesticide Registration Movement Act so it does not interfere with Farm Bill business moving forward. He voiced his frustrations to a group at the Farm Progress Show over recent Farm Bill listening sessions and says he plans to hold field hearings at land grant institutions as soon as January.

He says he wants to ensure the new Farm Bill does not become a climate bill.
