Google Earth is adding a time lapse feature to show the effects of climate change over four decades! It’s a global effort with Google, NASA and Europe, in hopes of educating the world on an often abstract concept. It was created from more than 24 million satellite images taken between 1984 to 2020. The videos are also available on Google’s YouTube site. Google plans to update the imagery once a year.
