Rumors of a recession continue to circle the Oval Office, but according to CNN, recent claims the White House is considering payroll tax cuts to avoid an economic downturn is off the table. Senator Chuck Grassley (R-IA) is pushing back on media reports fueling recession fears.
According to a White House Official, while cutting payroll taxes isn’t happening, other tax cuts are possible.
