Agriculture is a big deal in Iowa, and soon, students in one Iowa town will be getting some hands-on learning experience with the new addition of a greenhouse.
Students at Western Christian High School in Hull, Iowa are about to get some real-life agricultural experience.
A new greenhouse is being built for their ag program.
Brian Verwolf, Administrator administrator at Western Christian High School in Hull, Iowa, says that the new greenhouse being build for the ag program at “offers us an opportunity to get our hands-on learning – to feel, to smell, to do learning. And I think it opens up the door to innovate.”
The greenhouse will be 18 feet wide by 42 feet long and is scheduled to be completed in the next few months.
