Grizzly bear relocated after killing bull in ID

A grizzly bear has been relocated in Idaho after killing livestock.

USDA wildlife officials determined the bear had killed a yearling bull near Island Park Reservoir. They used a culvert trap to capture it and had a GPS collar put on it to track its movements.

Biologists gave the animal a health and body condition assessment before relocating it to a more remote area near Snow Creek Butte.

Wildlife officials plan to monitor its movements and activities.
