Grizzly bears could be trucked into the Yellowstone area next summer

In just a few months, grizzly bears will be arriving in the Yellowstone region. It is an effort to show the Federal Government areas bears no longer require Endangered Species protections.

Officials say they are looking to move bears that have no history of conflict and prefer a younger female bear. Recently, a plan was announced by the Biden Administration to release grizzly bears into rural Washington. They want to boost the population in the North Cascades but ag groups are speaking out against it.

Congressman Dan Newhouse and NCBA both say it would be disastrous for everyone.
