Lane Unhjem suffered a heart attack after his combine caught fire last week so his neighbors stepped up to help him complete the harvest.

According to Valley News Live, about 60 farmers in Divide County, North Dakota brought in 11 combines, 6 grain carts and 15 semis to help out Unhjem.

“I talked to a couple of farmers, got their equipment, and then other people just started calling and we had equipment offered from all over the place in the county, and their workers to go with it,” family friend Jenna Binde told VNL.

Everyone said the unharvested crops would make things difficult so it was in their nature to help out a member of the community. In total, it took about seven hours to harvest the 1,000 acres left.

Unhjem is in stable condition.
