Happy Birthday, Glen Campbell!
Campbell was a singer, songwriter, actor, and TV host. He was born in Arkansas on April 22, 1936.
As a solo artist, he had nine number 1 songs. Some of his hits include “Gentle on My Mind,” “Rhinestone Cowboy,” “Wichita Lineman,” and “Galveston.” He also won four Grammys and received the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 2012.
In 2011, he was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease. Sadly, in 2017, Campbell passed away at the age of 81.
