HIGHLIGHTS: Challenge Cup, Day 5 - Knockout Round 2

PORT HURON, Mich. – For Knockout Round Match 2 of the B&W Trailer Hitches Challenge Cup Presented by 5-hour ENERGY®, nobody was cooler on the water than Team YETI’s Adrian Avena and Dustin Connell. The duo grabbed the lead early and never let go, finishing atop SCORETRACKER® with 50 pounds even on 24 scorable bass. Meanwhile, Mark Davis and Gary Klein caught fire in the second half of the day. Team B&W Trailer Hitches surged from behind to take the final seat in tomorrow’s Championship Round with 35 pounds even on 17 scorable bass.

Team Star Tron’s Jacob Wall and Bobby Lane put up a good fight but are headed home after catching 22-2 on nine scorable bass.

Challenge Cup action concludes today (Friday) with the Championship Round. Catch all the action on the RFD-TV Now ivestream from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET, or tune in live when RFD-TV airs the final period of the competition day (2:30-5 p.m.).
