Holstein USA honors the next generation of dairy leaders

Established in 1922, Holstein Association USA created the Distinguished Junior Member Competition.

This contest is the longest-running Holstein youth program and is the highest honor that can be given to a Junior Holstein member.

The Distinguished Junior Member award recognizes 17 to 21-year-olds who have excelled in preparing for their life’s work while contributing to their local and state Holstein activities.

Holstein Association USA’s Miles Ramsay introduces a few of the finalists – past and present.
