House passes the stopgap spending bill on top of a Farm Bill extension

House Republicans and Democrats came together last night to pass the stopgap government funding bill.

This includes a one-year extension of the 2018 Farm Bill. It was passed in a landslide with only 95 members voting it down. The bill now heads to the Senate and reports out of Washington say it is expected to pass easily.

This agreement extends USDA funding at 2023 levels until January 19th. Several other agencies are now funded until February 2nd.
