U.S. farmers got a big win this week in Washington when the Supreme Court overturned the Chevron ruling.
It now opens the doors for farmers to make a case against burdensome regulations.
Several groups in favor of the ruling say that the decision will strengthen other challenges to regulations in cases that have not yet made their way to the Supreme Court.
Leaders at the Liberty Justice Center say that the reversal of the 1984 case will have widespread effects for years to come.
Legal experts say that this could also have a big impact on WOTUS, and could have helped play a role in the Sackett Case which went on for more than a decade.
