How should producers prepare for USDA’s new traceability rule?

USDA’s updated traceability rule is set to take effect in November, requiring certain classes of cattle moving interstate to use an electronically readable identification tag.

Ethan Lane with the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association spoke with RFD-TV’s own Tammi Arender on how producers should prepare for this new rule, how to get access to EID tags, and how data will be safeguarded.
