According to one recent report, a high number of U.S Farms – 25%, in fact – still don’t have internet access. That percentage accounts for about half a million farming operations. Other data points include:

  • Percentage down slightly from 25% in 2017
  • For those with access, satellite, DSL, mobile, or cable are the most common means of connectivity
  • 73% of those connected are via desktop or laptop
  • 52% of those connected use smartphones or tablets
