Hundreds of first responders attended the funeral of a Pennsylvania paramedic who was hit and killed while responding to a crash on the side of a road.
Matthew Smelser was a medic for 20 years and coworkers say he died doing what he loved. It was a job he wanted since he was 14.
A memorial outside of the station Smelser worked at included flowers, his bulletproof vest, and the American flag flying at half-staff.
