Midwest producers experience historic snowfall in parts of the region following a major winter storm. It snowed nearly 5 inches in Arlington Heights, Illinois.
Brian Duncan, the Vice President of the Illinois Farm Bureau, speaks with RFD-TV’s own Janet Adkison on the current conditions in his region, if there will be any ripple effects, and how it compares to last year.
“The question always is disruption in transportation of livestock, what would that look like? I’m hoping that it is not so severe,” he states. “I’m hoping that the roads stay open and we can keep things moving, and quite frankly, we could use the moisture. We’ve been really dry since last August, basically. Seeing a little moisture doesn’t hurt...”
