Nearly 900 workers at a Tyson Foods plant in Indiana have tested positive for COVID-19, WDRB reports.

The plant has seen 890 of its 2,200 employees test positive in under a week. It is one of several food plants across the country that have voluntarily closed due to the virus outbreak.

County officials are working with Tyson to develop a plan to reopen the plant.

The plants have been declared “critical infrastructure” under the Defense Production Act, which means everything will be done to open the plant back up and keep the food supply chain intact.
