Is grocery shopping in-person becoming a thing of the past?

Could going to the store for groceries become a thing of the past? New numbers show more choices are popping up but they do come at a cost.

Amazon Prime is now offering an option for customers at just under $10 per month, and low-income customers with an EBT card can get a half-off discount.

According to Produce News, traditional grocery sales are expected to jump 1.6 percent through 2028. However, their online sales are projected to grow by almost 5 percent.
