“Is high path AI being opportunistic?": North Carolina State Vet offers insight to HPAI outbreak in the state

We are continuing to hear from state ag leaders here in the U.S. as they work to mitigate the spread of high path avian flu, which has been detected in dairy cattle in multiple regions including to North Carolina.

State Veterinarian, Dr. Michael Martin spoke with RFD-TV’s own Suzanne Alexander on how HPAI is being handled differently, the impact on cattle, and what to keep an eye on moving forward.
