It is going to be a wetter week, but might not be enough

Rain is in the forecast for some farmers who need it most.

Southwestern Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, and eastern Texas could all have a wetter week, but it may not be enough. These areas are in desperate need of several days of rain to make any kind of dent in the existing drought.

When it comes to temperatures, the Corn Belt should also see a cool-off later this week.
