“It’s duplicative": National Cattlemen’s Beef Association weighs in on USDA’s Special Investigator Bill

The National Cattlemen’s Beef Association is speaking out on yesterday’s markup by the House Ag Committee over a new “investigator position” at USDA. While they strongly support oversight of the meatpacking sector, they say that the bill does nothing to accomplish that goal.

NCBA Senior Director of Government Affairs, Tanner Beymer spoke with RFD-TV’s own Suzanne Alexander on what the bill aims to do, their issues with the legislation, and what they would like to see happen.
