Even though planters are making progress in the fields, market analysts warn there is a lot of behind-the-scenes work needed surrounding risk management, especially with corn.
Matt Bennett with AgMarket.net says projections are not looking promising, and we could see $4 or below on December corn. He tells Brownfield Ag News that the number is below break-even for more farmers.
The next WASDE report comes out on May 10th, and Conab will update its production outlook on May 14th.
