Jerry
Nelson’s Frontier Rodeo Company Will Provide the

World’s
Top Bucking Horses for THE AMERICAN

Omaha – RFD-TV’s THE
AMERICAN presented by Polaris RANGER is
proud to announce that Jerry Nelson’s Frontier Rodeo Company will bring their high
quality rodeo production to the world’s richest one-day rodeo. Frontier Rodeo
Company will bring in their award
winning horses and top quality broncs from stock contractors such as Calgary
Stampede, Smith Pro Rodeos, Harry Vold Rodeo Company, Rafter G Rodeo, 101 Wild
West Rodeo and Burch Rodeo Company.

Frontier Rodeo Company Ranch is home to 250
of the world’s top bucking horses. Frontier Rodeo Company has been in the rodeo
business for almost 15 years and in that time they have provided livestock to
numerous rodeos across the United States. In 2011, Frontier Rodeo Company
became the first rodeo company to win Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association’s
(PRCA) Saddle Bronc and Bareback Horse of the Year winners within the same year
and continued to make history by winning both awards again in 2013.

The Calgary Stampede purchased its ranch in
1961, and formed the foundations of its renowned breeding program, “Born to
Buck” with 50 mares. The property covers a total of 22,000 acres and provides
the Stampede with a beautiful natural environment, where today, about 500
horses live at the ranch, including 70 brood mares. The Calgary Stampede is one
of the few rodeos in the world with its own registered brand, the distinctive C
lazy S on the left shoulder. To maintain its reputation and ensure its standards
of care are met, the Stampede does not sell the horses carrying its brand.

Stace Smith of Smith Pro Rodeos has worked at
every level of rodeo, beginning as a contestant, then spending time as chute
boss, and pickup man. Smith and Smith Pro Rodeos have won numerous awards and
recognitions for excellence in the arena and rough stock quality. Smith has won Stock
Contractor of the Year, eight consecutive years (2004-2011) a feat that has
been achieved only one other time since the awards’ inception. Smith Pro Rodeos
has developed a fast paced high-energy rodeo theology that is producing sold
out performances across the southeast United States. They provide the rodeo fan
with a full, unique rodeo experience with everything from a laser and
pyrotechnic show to top quality, award winning stock.

Harry Vold of Harry Vold Rodeo Company, was born in
1924 on a ranch just outside of Ponoka, Alberta, Canada. Ninety years later, he
is still running one of the largest stock contracting companies in North
America. Vold raises approximately 35 colts and 15 bulls every year on his
30,000 acre ranch located 25 miles southeast of Pueblo, Colorado.

Known as “Duke of the Chutes”, Vold
has raised some of the most acclaimed animals in the PRCA. Including 1976 Bronc
of the Year “Sarcee Sorrell,” 1981 Bronc of the Year
“Rusty” , 1991,1992,1993 Bronc of the Year “Bobby Jo Skoal”
and 2010 Saddle Bronc of the Year “Painted Valley”.
