Judge tosses EPA suit over Idaho ranch’s wetlands

A federal court has tossed a suit against an Idaho ranch accused of destroying wetlands.

The court said that the EPA failed to show the wetlands on the property ran to navigable water, citing the Supreme Court’s ruling in the Sackett case.

Roger McEowen with the Washburn School of Law spoke with RFD-TV’s own Suzanne Alexander about the case’s highlights, contributing factors to the ruling, and the big takeaways for landowners.
