Junior Charolais Association National Show and Leadership Conference in full swing in South Dakota

The American International Junior Charolais Association is hosting its annual Junior National Show and Leadership Conference in Brookings, South Dakota.

Exhibitors traveled from different states across the country to compete in personal development and leadership development contests.

Despite the pandemic, Junior Activity Director Kaitlyn Chism said that the numbers are at its all-time high, there were 370 participants and 565 cattle entries to be exhibited overall.

Participants began exhibiting livestock Thursday and will continue on Friday, when a champion of each respective show is crowned.

Chism says that she is happy to see exhibitors hard work in the cattle barn pay of amid COVID-19.
