Earlier this year a working group made up of agricultural stakeholders was formed to address the state of Kentucky’s large-animal veterinarian shortage.
Now, after several meetings throughout the year, the working group has presented a plan to the state’s Ag Commissioner to address the ongoing issue which has become a nationwide concern.
Kentucky Ag Commissioner, Dr. Ryan Quarles spoke with RFD-TV’s own Suzanne Alexander on the Veterinary Shortage Working Group, how they are addressing the shortage, and future steps.
