The Biden administration is ready to tackle the Colorado River.
The Interior Department published the public comments it received on how to properly manage the waterway during the drought. It was 400 pages in total, including a new operating plan that could guide the next two decades of water allocations in the river basin.
The administration says that it is ready to restrict water use along the system.
The river serves 40 million people and irrigates more than 5 million acres of farmland.
