KY Ag Commissioner Dr. Quarles addresses suspicious Chinese seeds

Kentucky Ag Commissioner, Dr. Ryan Quarles joins the Trump administration’s Regulatory Innovation Initiative. The effort aims to streamline regulations to better assist farmers and ranchers in the region.

Commissioner Quarles speaks with RFD-TV on the importance of ag research and development and the suspicious seeds coming from China. “Do not plant these seeds. If you have received a package of these unsolicited, unfamiliar seeds that you did not order, do not plant them. It’s an invasive species risk; we don’t know what these seeds are and we are working with the United States Department of Agriculture, who later today will be issuing a nation wide guidance.”

You can email ag.web@ky.gov to report any unsolicited seeds.
