Ladies Of Legacy: Three country artists have come together to cover “Silver Threads & Golden Needles”

Three power artists have come together to keep a power legacy alive. They have deep roots in country music and they are now honoring that with their rendition of the classic hit “Silver Threads & Golden Needles.”

The song was first recorded 70 years ago by Wanda Jackson and was later released in 1993 on the Honky Tonk Angels album with Dolly Parton, Loretta Lynn, and Tammy Wynette.

Lee Newton, Georgette Jones, and Heidi Parton stopped by the RFD-TV studio and spoke with Suzanne Alexander on how this collaboration came together and why it is important to keep these legends alive today.
