A U.S.-based biotech company is using light to manage seeds. They call it a leap in innovation, and say it can reduce costs by up to 90 percent.
The BioLumic Trait™ uses UV light to regulate genetic expression, and it is done without genetic modification. The company says it boosts resilience while doing away with the hurdles of GM traits.
