Learning ATV safety from a young age

All terrain vehicles, or ATVs, can be useful on farms, but these machines can be dangerous if the driver is not cautious. The University of Tennessee Extension System teaches ATV safety as part of its 4-H program. Charles Denney shows us sensible lessons for young riders.

Experts advise that ATVs and 4 Wheelers are probably best kept in fields and yards. Their beefy wheels roll best on grass and dirt, and they are not good on pavement.
