Shannen Doherty has announced that her breast cancer has returned, and she is now battling stage 4 cancer.
The 48-year-old actress announced the news on Tuesday on “Good Morning America.”
“It’s going to come out in a matter of days or a week that I’m stage 4. So my cancer came back and that’s why I’m here,” she told Amy Robach.
Doherty played Jenny Wilder in Little House on the Prairie in from 1982-1983 and appeared in all but four episodes of the series’ final season.
Doherty gained fame in the TV series, Beverly Hills, 90210.
Since her initial diagnosis, the actress returned to work on the 90210 reboot in 2019.
