NASHVILLE, Tenn (RFD-TV) The Livestock Marketing Association uses the auctioning of pies in congress to convey the Importance of protecting livestock markets to U.S. lawmakers. The purpose of the activity was to show the value of the competitive bidding process and the need to protect the ability for the producer to create the top dollar for their product in uncertain times.
