Congratulations are in order for the longest-married presidential couple as former President and First Lady, Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter are celebrating their 74th wedding anniversary!
Last year the couple became the longest-married presidential couple after getting married on July 7, 1946, in Georgia.
The Carter Library tweeted once President Carter was asked what was the most important thing he’d ever done. President Carter simply said, “marrying Rosalynn.”
