Canada is on track to plant the most wheat acres in 22 years!
Statistics Canada forecasts the country will plant 6 percent more wheat this season, in an effort to make up for supplies lost due to the war in Ukraine and the ongoing drought in the United States.
Canadian farmers plan to plant 27 million acres with 19 million being spring wheat, 6 million in durum, and just over a million for winter wheat.
