‘Love on the Spectrum’ Star Tyler White Takes on Country Music

White shares how his signature catchphrase became a ’90s country-inspired song.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (RFD News) — Fans may know Tyler White from Love on the Spectrum, but the Florida native is now finding a new audience through country music.

White joined us on Thursday’s Market Day Report to discuss his songwriting and upcoming projects.

His song “Oh Yeah Baby” grew out of the catchphrase viewers heard on the reality show and was inspired by his love of ‘90s country music and George Strait.

White said songwriting was relatively new to him before the show opened the door to opportunities in Nashville. Since then, he has written songs inspired by his fiancée, Madison, and his family, including “My Old Man,” a tribute to his father.

White plans to release the Christmas song “Cowboy’s Christmas” on Nov. 6. He is also scheduled to perform the national anthem at the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series race at Charlotte Motor Speedway on Oct. 10.

Knoxville native Neal Burnette-Irwin is a graduate from MTSU where he majored in Journalism and Entertainment Studies. He works as a digital content producer with RFD News and is represented by multiple talent agencies in Nashville and Chicago.
