Man arrested for selling over $65,000 of cattle he didn’t own

A Texas man is in jail for selling over $65,000 worth of livestock that didn’t belong to him reports KXXV News.

63-year-old William D. Watson was arrested on Wednesday and charged with two counts of theft of livestock.

Authorities said Watson sold 47 head of cattle that belonged to his employer and 26 cattle that were sold without the owner’s consent.

Watson has been charged for stealing 88 head of cattle from two victims valued at over $65,000.
