Grain prices remain at uncomfortable lows, leaving many producers frustrated, with some feeling like better opportunities have come and gone.
Minnesota crop grower Neil Rockstand says he missed some opportunities earlier this year. He tells Brownfield Ag News that he is discouraged and will not break even this year. He is hoping to see a rebound on the boards but many analysts believe that is unlikely.
Rockstand expects a lot of grain to go into storage, with many producers waiting for better prices. However, a third of last year’s corn is still in storage, putting many producers in a difficult position.
