The guest speaker at Purdue University’s annual fish fry is a graduate who went on to become the head of one of the biggest fast-food restaurants in the nation.
The 2014 Purdue Ag Alumni Fish Fry is Saturday, Feb. 1 and McDonald’s CEO Don Thompson will be the keynote speaker.
Organizers say Thompson will share how he came to his position at the top of a company that employs 1.8 million people worldwide and give insight into its ability to serve quality food to the masses.
The event also features exhibits and time for networking.
Tickets are $25 each and can be ordered online.
