More hindrances arise in the food supply chain as Smithfield temporarily shutdown one its packing facilities in South Dakota, due to coronavirus. A reported 80 workers have tested positive for the virus.
JBS is also considering shutting down one of its facilities in Colorado, as nearly 30 of its employees have come down with the virus. Another JBS plant in Nebraska has 10 employees infected.
