Minnesota farmer is calling for more Farm Bill resources around conservation benefits

Conservation is a big part of the farming landscape these days, but one farmer is calling for more resources in the Farm Bill to help producers make the best financial decisions.

Kristin Weeks Duncanson is a Minnesota farmer owner, and she says even with the benefits, the financial aspect is important but it is an area with far less information. A new survey found farmers are more likely to use sustainability practices if they feel it can make a good financial return.

She is calling on Congress to spend money from the Farm Bill to create education tools and help farmers access financial information about conservation practices.
