JACKSON, Miss. (RFD News) — Mississippi Farm Bureau members are combining food, fellowship and friendly competition to support hunger relief efforts across the state.
Hosted by the Mississippi Farm Bureau Federation Foundation for Agriculture, the cook-off brings together Farm Bureau members to raise awareness and support for Mississippians facing food insecurity.
The event benefits the Mississippi Food Network, which says demand for food assistance continues to grow. Farm Bureau organizations have donated more than $1 million over the past two years and volunteered hundreds of hours to help support hunger relief efforts statewide.
