Farms are becoming a popular investment in parts of the country.
Shawn Snider grew up on a farm but is now a fire chief in Edinburg, Texas. He says that people are realizing that there are many benefits of getting away from the cities and into a more rural, agricultural environment.
“People are wanting to get a little more open space, a little more of ranch land feeling,” he said.
A relator in Maryland, Jaime Gervasi, says that she has been seeing the change in her part of the country as well.
“We had a couple...We moved them onto seven acres and it was a celebration within our team because like, we can’t wait until we can get there and we can just spread out and have some room,” Gervasi states.
