National Public Lands Day: What’s the importance of cattle grazing?

We are celebrating National Public Lands Day. More than 22,000 ranchers graze cattle and sheep on federal lands.

Tomorrow is National Public Lands Day, serving as an opportunity to highlight the economic and environmental benefits of livestock grazing on public lands.

Sigrid Johannes with the Public Lands Council spoke with RFD-TV’s own Janet Adkison about the benefits of public lands grazing, some of the environmental impacts of cattle and sheep grazing, and what they would like to see when it comes to managing publicly-owned lands.
