The National Western Stock Show and Rodeo wrapped up at Denver Coliseum. The results were announced after the short round and the athletes worked hard for their winnings. Several athletes left with upwards of $11,000 in winnings. Saddle bronc rider, Zeke Thurston claimed his victory with his ride on “Iron Maiden.” Bull rider, Chase Dougherty rode three bulls for a total of 252.5 points to add to his standings in the professional circuit. Not only is Doughtery riding professionally, he is also riding in the collegiate rodeo circuit and is at the top of the standings for the Big Sky region.
