NCBA files brief with SCOTUS supporting an Idaho family battling the EPA

The National Cattlemen’s Beef Association has filed a brief with the Supreme Court, supporting an Idaho family who has battled the Environmental Protection Agency for decades over Waters of the U.S. Rule.

Agriculture groups are now asking for clearly defined rules moving forward about what constitutes a wetland under the Clean Water Act.

NCBA Chief Environmental Counsel Scott Yager spoke with RFD-TV’s own Suzanne Alexander about where the case stands today, what they are calling for, how a decision on this case could impact the cattle industry and what the next steps are.
