NCBA is continuing to push for Death Tax relief

The National Cattlemen’s Beef Association is continuing its push to repeal the federal estate tax, also known as the Death Tax.

They have shared their support for the Death Tax Repeal Act, which is being led in the House by Representatives Randy Feenstra and Sanford Bishop. Its companion bill in the Senate is being led by Senator John Thune.

The organization’s president is weighing in on the matter.

“This, the Death Tax, is an incredible loss, and it starts a vicious cycle where future generations continue to face punitive taxes their ancestors paid multiple times. Rural America needs a tax code that promotes multi-generational, family-owned businesses instead of chopping them up.”

The current Death Tax relief is set to expire at the end of 2025.
