Nebraska governor signs bill to standardize E15 sales

An act to standardize E15 sales is now law in Nebraska.

Governor Jim Pillen officially signed the Adopt the E15 Access Standard Act. The goal is to increase consumer access to the blend by providing tax credits to fuel retailers who sell it.

The Renewable Fuels Association is applauding the move saying it will help Nebraska families save money while also reducing emissions.
Several Midwestern states have pushed the federal government to allow year-round E15 sales.
