Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announces a $10 billion dollar plan to create jobs and spur economic growth.
Shaun Haney, the host of RealAg Radio, speaks with RFD-TV’s Tammi Arender on the agricultural components of the plan and if this is enough of a dedication to infrastructure.
According to Haney, “Through the Canadian Infrastructure Bank, the government announced these five points yesterday. They are claiming it’s going to create 60,000 jobs across the country. It’s a part of their “build back better” plan... The agricultural components of it, most notably, is the $1.5 billion for agriculture irrigation projects to help the agriculture sector enhance production, strengthen Canada’s food security and expand export opportunities...”
