New Mexico Cattle Growers Association President on Forest Service shooting stray cattle

The U.S. Forest Service is being sued for aerially shooting stray cattle in New Mexico.

The service killed roughly 65 head in the Gila National Forest earlier this month. Cattle groups say that the repercussions will be felt by the ag community for some time.

President of the New Mexico Cattle Growers Association, Loren Patterson spoke with RFD-TV’s own Tammi Arender on their concerns with the operation, what alternative method should have been used, and where we go from here.
